Career Summary
A Spring 2023 Emory University graduate, holding a Bachelor of Arts degree with Magna Cum Laude Honors in Film and Media Business Management. I possess formal education, 6 years of relevant experience, and a freelancing background in photography. Post-grad, I am actively seeking to leverage my current expertise and apply my technical and interpersonal skillsets to further propel my creative and career growth to the next level.
With an extensive award-winning and nationally recognized portfolio, my demonstrated commitment to studio and on-location photo production and post-production includes project management and brand development at the institutional level (i.e., Emory University). This work included partnering with academic departments, social clubs, and university offices that were comprised of both single-sex and co-ed collegiate affiliates.
Furthermore, my fly-on-the-wall documentary approach has allowed me to seamlessly blend into my surrounding workspaces during shoots without disruption, which multiplied the opportunities of capturing the natural, yet special moments of my subjects.
I look forward to applying my self-starter leadership skills, creative thinking, and solutions-oriented work style to new and exciting photography ventures that highlight the dynamic range and nature of humanity.
01
Emory University, Department of Film and Media
These photographs were published on the department's social media and were a part of the renovation of the official department website. They represent live lectures of Emory Film and Media's individually-tailored, undergraduate-centered curriculum within a major research university in the heart of Atlanta--the "Hollywood of the South."
02
Emory University, Center for Women
Photographed are signature events presented by the Center for Women at Emory, including various gatherings of the "Emory Women in the Wilderness" cohort-based program and the annual "Un-Conference" student-led seminar. The former explores the use of athletic ability, outdoor recreation, and skill and community building as tools for building health and well-being for centers. The latter provides an educational space for students to discuss issues pertaining to the empowerment of women.
03
Freelance, Sports
Depicted are live workouts from student-athletes from Los Angeles, California. I began my freelancing journey with sports photography after studying Advanced Photography in high school at Crossroads School for Arts & Sciences in Santa Monica, California, combining my love for sports and art.
04
Freelance, Portraiture
Traditional headshot portraits allow me to collaborate one-on-one with each client to meet the needs and vision of their professional profile images or test/sample headshots for modeling or acting digitals.
05
Freelance, Graduation
Pictured are portraits of graduating seniors from Emory College, Goizueta Business School, and Georgia Institute of Technology. This collaboration between myself and each client was a creative call to memorialize their important life moments, fulfilling expectations through consultation, execution, and delivery.
